House of Smoke & ASH
Four decades. First time.
For forty years, “American” food has been defined during JBF Week without fully recognizing the people who built it. Indigenous House is a shift in that narrative. A platform for Indigenous voices, grounded in land, community, and lived practice, taking our place on one of the industry’s most visible stages.
The Conversation
A moderated discussion and Q&A with Indigenous chefs, advocates, farmers, and food producers. This is the work behind the work.
The Table
A collaborative dinner prepared by Indigenous chefs , with Indigenous ingredients on one of the most visible stages in American food culture.
The Gathering
The meal is done. The conversation isn't. An informal close to the night for those who aren't ready to leave the house.
